Medical facilities
Airport Medical Services provides medical kits and AED equipment for use on board aircraft and ensures that they are properly replenished and maintained. There is also a smaller first aid kit, used to treat minor injuries on board, and cabin crew members are given medical pouches containing basic medical requisites, such as painkillers and nose drops.
Flight emergencies: incidents in the air
In the event of a medical problem in the air, airlines can count on 24 hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week advice from an Airport Medical Services doctor. Following consultation, the cabin crew can administer medical attention in the aircraft, or, if the situation is serious enough, an intermediate landing can be advised.
Fit-to-fly examinations
Your employees sometimes have to work under exceptional circumstances, which can place significant demands on their health. Our “fit-to-fly” examinations for cabin crew will give you the necessary peace of mind. And should medication be necessary, we can provide that too.
